Kroll offers two options for Workshop Heating: the very popular Kroll 'Kozy' for small workshops and the 'SZ' series for areas over 400 square meters.

Hydronic radiant heating is the 'Rolls-Royce' of heating. Hydronic heating features are:
extremely efficient
- whisper quiet
- relief for allergy sufferers due to low air movement
- able to be the domestic hot water baseline heat source
- optionally heat the swimming & spa
- fast heat up
- energy efficient
- panel radiators and/or concrete slab radiators possible
- $1000 per radiator (example below is 18 panels)
- slab heating is approx $50/sq metre
The total heating power for this 35 square space is 22kW or 80,000 BTU. A spreadsheet with price breakdowns is available after contacting Kroll. for a generic hydronic plan for a 35 square modern home which shows all system details.
Adding domestic hot water requires a low pressure water tank (with heat exchange coil for the mains-pressure water supply) and an extra pump & piping.
Kroll offers you Boiler & Burner Packages to meet your heating needs , also:

FISH CREEK HYDRONIC HEATING
In the rural areas of Australia there are a few choices of energy source available; solar, wind, diesel, LPG and waste oil.
DOMESTIC
Solar is great for small domestic (potable) hot water, however, if you'd like to reliably and quickly heat a domestic swimming pool of eg: 60,000 litres from 15 C to 25 C within a day or two (and keep it at 25 C) you really need some serious power to make it practical. This tends to leave the energy choices to either diesel, LPG or waste oil, especially in rural areas where natural gas is unavailable out of town or on the farm.
If you do an approximate cost analysis, diesel is around $1.30 a litre, LPG is around $0.80 a litre with waste oil typically $0.20 a litre. Waste oil prices tend to remain the same, whereas diesel and LPG fluctuate depending on international trading circumstances.
LPG looks good so far, however, it's heating value (Mj rating) is 22 Mj per litre, whereas waste oil has around 38 Mj per litre. So, practically then, you need nearly twice as much LPG to generate the same amount of heat. Diesel and waste oil are normally around the same heating value. Go figure it out yourself, as prices constantly vary depending on supply & demand and your own location.
A 50 kW waste oil compatible water heater will typically heat the home, swimming pool, spa and domestic hot water with fuel cost at $0.20 per litre.
PUBLIC
Shire council pools in rural areas are not usually heated at all. These pools therefore are virtually unusable in Winter. It seems strange to have an expensive public asset lying dormant for big chunks of the year. Consider all year use of the pool; you require warm water. Often a business case for heating installation costs can be rationalised when these costs are offset against extra income from all-year usage and low ongoing energy bills.
Therefore, some rural councils are heating their pools on waste oil to produce a year round asset and public service.
The swimming pool at left is heated on waste oil with Kroll. Air temperature around 10 deg C, midday. Location is a rural pool 150 km south east of Melbourne, Victoria.

Air spaceheating from heating furnaces is one option, click for Kroll SZ series. Hydronic heating using hot water from piped water heaters is another.

Kroll Heater's SZ furnaces are free standing and are easily ducted into spray booths or bake ovens and may be utilised for heating general work areas as well as your spray areas.
The SZs can be fitted with programmable timers to come on at a preset time ensuring that the environment will be comfortable on arrival in the morning and that urgent jobs are already in progression before staff arrive. Time means money! The SZ furnaces may be installed horizontally on the roof of the spray booth if required.
Kroll heaters are used to heat workshops, factories, showrooms, offices, warehouses, greenhouses, shops and halls. They don't need to be modern insulated buildings. Even draughty tin sheds are being heated succesfully by Kroll heaters. Kroll heaters are mostly used in the automotive sales, repair and associated industries, plus the work depots of federal, state and local governments, simply because these people have an abundant supply of waste oil on hand. Alternatively, you can have it delivered by a waste oil merchant very cheaply. Call for a guide to prices and merchants in your area.
All Kroll heaters run on waste oils, but there are two distinctly different types of Kroll heater. The smallest model, the Kroll 'Kozy' is a vapourising heater, that is, the oil is regulated onto a hot cast iron pan inside the furnace where it vapourises into a gas, and it's the gas that burns.
All the larger 'SZ' models are atomising heaters. Their unique burner mechanism preconditions the waste oil and sprays it into the stainless steel combustion chamber where it is ignited by electrodes.

We can assist in your greenhouse heating design and installation requirements.
Air heating is low entry cost & lower efficiency, hydronic heating is higher entry costs & more efficient.
